We all know that native plants serve many great purposes. They filter groundwater and remove contaminants, they provide habitat and food for birds, and they help prevent erosion. But there are several native plants that benefit our native pollinator populations as well. Some of these plants include liatris, helianthus, anise hyssop, bee balm, and goldenrod. By using native plants in your gardens you too can create a habitat for these endangered creatures.
