A project we completed for a family in Victoria, MN was featured in November/December article of Northern Gardener. The article can be seen online here.
A natural stone theme fit well with this home rebuild overlooking a wetland and surrounded by mature trees. Using a type of stone that complimented the stone veneer of the house, a new outdoor space was created. This space is invites visitors to the front door, and also allows for entertaining and enjoying the surrounding garden areas.
Retaining walls were added to match the natural stone patio. The dual purpose of these walls allowed for retention of soil near the walk out basement, and allowed the landscape to flow as it wrapped around the house.
